The State of Alabama released a Request for Proposals (RFP) to
solicit from HIE vendors a technical solution to create and implement a
statewide health information exchange (HIE). The RFP is posted on the
Medicaid website.
To be a registered Vendor with the State of
Alabama, interested Vendors must complete an online registration form
with the Alabama Department of Finance’s Purchasing Division. As part of
the registration process, vendors are required to submit a $200 payment
which allows them two (2) years' access to view, print, bid and/or be
awarded a solicitation to bid.
